  • Manufacturer - Jaroszów Refractory Materials Plant (JARO SA)

The history of the Refractory Materials Plant in Jaroszów began in 1870 with the launch of the Refractory Clay Mine in Jaroszów, operating on the basis of newly discovered, rich deposits of refractory clays. Shortly after World War II, in 1945, the plant became the property of the Polish authorities and since then it has been called Jaroszowskie Zakłady Materiałów Ognioalnychch. In 1995, the plant was transformed into a wholly-owned company of the State Treasury, and in 1998 privatized under the name of JARO S.A.
