Manufacturer - ZAOS Wilkasy Lighting Equipment Plant
ZAOS (Lighting Equipment Plant) is a lighting factory operating since 1947 in Wilkasy near Giżycko. Initially, it was called Mazurskie Zakłady Aparatury Lightingej A-23, and in 1969 it was called ZAOS. This factory produced various types of lighting, including industrial lamps, explosion-proof lamps, and home lighting. One of her popular products was the ST-5 desk lamp, the design of which dates back to around 1970. ZAOS operated during the state economy of the People's Republic of Poland, and its history is part of the rich tradition of the Polish lighting industry, which dates back to 1907. After the political transformation in the 1990s, the factory changed its name to Elektrim, and then to Es System.
