  • Manufacturer - Huta Szkła Chribska

The Chribska Glassworks (Sklarna Chribska) was a Czech artistic glassworks that operated in the Czech Republic in the twentieth century. Its products are often confused with products from the Italian island of Murano, because both centers used similar techniques of coloring and decorating glass. Huta Chribska specialized in the production of high-quality art glass, such as vases, bowls, and other decorative glass objects. Many of her designs were designed by the renowned Czech designer Josef Hospodka and represent typical Czech design from the 1950s and 1960s. The products of the Chribska glassworks were valued for their unique design and high quality of workmanship. Although the glassworks has ceased operations, its glasses are still sought after by collectors and art lovers in the antique and art market.
